The worktable is made of grooved aluminum, dimensions 540 × 1040 mm, thickness 18 mm. The special grooved machining facilitates mechanical clamping operations to secure the materials to be processed. The presence of the tank underneath allows for traditional dry machining but especially WET MACHINING WITH THE INTEGRATED MINIMAL QUANTITY LUBRICATION (MQL) SYSTEM INCLUDED AS STANDARD.

The bridge clearance – i.e., the maximum height of the workpiece – is 140 mm. Robust 8 mm carbon steel plates form the sides of the bridge, which is completed by three extruded aluminum profiles. The ring-shaped bridge structure is closed by the Z-axis assembly carriage.

POWER ELECTRONICS

The main axis is driven by three-phase stepper motors with a maximum torque of 4.5 Nm. This solution eliminates annoying mechanical resonances in the structure and allows for faster and smoother movements compared to standard bipolar motors commonly used by competitors.

The mechanics run on high-precision ball bearing linear guides and carriages – the highest level of technology available, ensuring maximum durability over time.

If desired, it is possible to connect any vacuum system to keep the worktable clean from machining chips. The dust extraction shroud, which channels the chips into the vacuum hose, is available as an optional accessory.

The standard spindle is a 1.6 kW professional MADE IN ITALY model, air-cooled and controlled via inverter. It is fully managed by the control software installed on the machine.
